<p><em> </em><strong>Dr. Lisa Greenwald</strong> and the <strong>History Club</strong> shares that on Sunday February 24<sup>th</sup>, at the <strong>national qualifier</strong> for the <strong>History</strong> <strong>Bowl,</strong> Stuyvesant had two qualifying teams. Congratulations to all!</p>
<p>Quarterfinalist Team – Sophomores, <strong>Lakshya Rajoria</strong>, <strong>Joshua Melamed</strong>, <strong>Frederick Lei</strong>, <strong>Michael Mardirossian</strong> Semifinalist Team, Sophomores, <strong>Shreyas Krishnan</strong>, and <strong>Anthony Rivello</strong>, Freshmen, <strong>Adam Avnet</strong> and <strong>Kenneth Tang</strong>. </p>
<p>Congratulations to <strong>Adam Avnet, </strong>who also <strong>qualified for nationals in the History Bee and the US history test</strong> and <strong>Kenneth Tang</strong> <strong>also qualified for nationals in the History Bee</strong> and <strong>Anthony Rivello qualified for nationals in the Geography test</strong>. Teams will go to <strong>the national competition on April 26-28</strong> (Friday-Sunday) in <strong>Washington DC</strong> and the entirety of rounds for the history bowl are on Saturday 27<sup>th</sup> except the final few playoff rounds.
