Here's your chance to do a good deed while freeing up shelf space for new books in your house.
For years Dr. Greenwald has supported Books Beyond Bars and other prison book exchanges because she believes passionately in the importance of education and books, especially in prison, as doors to new knowledge and perspectives on the world.
Right now, we have the opportunity to collect and deliver dictionaries of all kinds to incarcerated people who need them. These can be in any language or bilingual but must be in good condition. If you happen to have dictionaries on your shelf with which you are willing to part, would you please consider dropping them off before 2/13 (the mid-winter break) to a box in front of Dr. Greenwald's classroom (Room 327) or her office (room 311).
