Principal Yu sent a letter to families on Friday, January 7, 2022 after we distributed COVID testing kits to all students.
Dear families,
This morning when students entered the building we distributed a COVID-19 home test kit (two tests) along with directions (see below) for when and how to use them. Students were told to take their test kit home and should only use them if…
Again, students should only use their test kit if they are symptomatic and/or receive an exposure notification from Ms. Ingram. Otherwise, the students should keep the test kit if/until they are necessary.
Additionally, we are using an electronic form to streamline the reporting for new positive cases. Please use this form at: https://tinyurl.com/stuycovid to report a newpositive case. The form will allow us to maintain accurate records of COVID activity, particularly with the recent surge across the City.
Finally, we will continue to proactively update you on any measures we are taking. You may direct questions to Mr. Moran at bmoran@schools.nyc.gov and/or Ms. Ingram at ringram3@schools.nyc.gov.
Thank you for your understanding and partnership.
Sincerely,
Seung C. Yu
Principal
Stuyvesant High School
