Coach Silvana Choy shares that the Girls Swimming and Diving team won the PSAL "A" Championships at Lehman College this past weekend! The girls worked extremely hard all season and performed best times to help secure the title. Stuyvesant won with a final score of 362 points.
In addition, Arielle Aney, Eliza Knapp, Stella Oh, and Emma Lee won the 200 Free Relay and qualified for the New York State competition in Ithaca, NY.
Arielle Aney, Eliza Knapp, Natasha Moeslinger, and Emma Lee won the 400 Free Relay and also qualified for the New York State competition in Ithaca, NY. Lastly, Arielle Aney placed first in both the 200 freestyle and the 100 freestyle and qualified for the New York State Championships in both individual events. She was also the co-recipient of the Francine Schnarr Memorial Award for Outstanding Senior Athlete. Coach Choy expressed that she is so proud of the entire team, as is all of Stuy!
