<p><strong>Congratulations to the Robotics Team, STUYPULSE 694!</strong> They came in <strong>1st place</strong> at the <strong>RCC (Robotics Championship and Qianjiang International Robotics Invitational</strong> in China this summer!</p>
<p><strong>Mr. Blay</strong> contributed a review of the Robotics team’s trip this summer – From July 22nd until August 3rd, <strong>StuyPulse 694</strong>, traveled to China to compete and mentor young robotics teams from all over the country. This was the 5th straight year that StuyPulse was invited and attended the event and workshop, which took place in Hangzhou. On off days, when 694 was not working with teams or on robots, they had the opportunity to travel around the surrounding areas and take in the sights. They were joined by eight other international teams from California, Michigan (3 teams), Hawaii, Washington, Wisconsin, and Australia. In the elimination tournament, StuyPulse 694 captained an alliance of robots. They partnered with Metal Muscle 1506 from Flint, Michigan, and 5522 StarGazer from Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. <strong>Our team went a perfect 17-0 throughout qualification and elimination matches, winning the entire tournament for the first time in our team's history of attending competitions in China.</strong> StuyPulse wants to thank FIRST in China for putting on a terrific event and hopes to be back again in 2019!</p>
