Assistant Principal, Mr. Scott Thomas, shares that senior, Theodore Peters passed the Physics Olympiad exam administered on January 23rd at Stuyvesant and will advance to the next level in April to take the USApO Exam. If he advances, he would be invited to attend the U.S. Physics Team Training Camp at the University of Maryland in May/June and then in July, he would be invited to the International Physics Olympiad in Tel Aviv, Israel!
Each year, AAPT and the American Institute of Physics (AIP) sponsor a competition for high school students to represent the United States at the International Physics Olympiad Competition.
