Stuyvesant’s Rob Sandler was honored as a finalist for the FLAG Award for Teaching Excellence at a reception at the FLAG Art Foundation in Chelsea. The award celebrates outstanding NYC public school teachers, with six grand-prize winners each receiving $25,000 and their schools awarded $10,000 for arts-based initiatives.
