Congratulations Lamia Bushra! Being chosen to participate in the Global Classmates Summit Program!

Assistant Principal, Ms. Francesca McAuliffe and Ms. Chie Helinski share congratulations to Lamia Bushra! After an extensive interview selection process, Lamia has been chosen to participate in the Global Classmates Summit Program this summer!

She will be spending nine days in Washington DC fostering bonds with other prominent young students from the United States and Japan empowering them to grow as leaders and build a positive future for U.S.-Japan relations and the broader international community. The Summit brings 12 students in Washington, DC for in-person dialogue and collaboration. Brava Lamia!!

Despite their small class size, the AP Japanese students were very active with Kizuna Across the Culture’s Global Classmates program, so they were eligible to apply to the Global Classmates Summit.
