<p><b>Congratulations Zoe Parkin! Finalist in the</b> <a href="https://www.narrativemagazine.com/sixth-annual-narrative-tell-me-a-story-high-school-contest-winners?uid=368437&amp;m=e07b68038033fdb946f121980d6c3afc&amp;d=1618409138"><b>Sixth Annual “Tell Me a Story” High School Contest</b></a><b>.</b></p><p></p><p>This year, in a time of pandemic and sheltering in place, <i>Narrative</i> welcomed poetry submissions from our global community of high school students, all of whom imagined and wrote to the prompt of <b>escape.</b><br/>Contributing teachers and students in this year’s <i>Narrative</i> contest covered the world: submissions were from <b>19 countries,</b> including <b>South Africa, India, China, Serbia, Poland, Taiwan,</b> and others. Within the US, young poets in <b>39 states and 174 cities</b> submitted—an amazing outpouring of poetry! In all, the <a href="https://www.narrativemagazine.com/narrative-in-the-schools-program?uid=368437&amp;m=e07b68038033fdb946f121980d6c3afc&amp;d=1618409138">Narrative in the Schools</a> programs reach more than 100,000 students and teachers in schools worldwide.<br/></p>
