Congratulations to Stuyvesant’s Theater Community on a fabulous Winter Drama production! Blue Stockings, a short play about women’s’ struggle to graduate college in the late 1800s, (though written in the early 2000s, so it is easy to understand). Our students portrayed the young men and women who attended an elite college in England during the beginning of women being admitted. It included debates about feminism as well as plenty of witty banter, and was well-placed historically. Bravo to all our amazing actors and actresses! Here are some snapshots from the performance last night.
