Congratulations to seniors Natalie Kim and Sophie Rapuano who placed first and second respectively in the 2025 Solidarity and Civic Engagement in Transatlantic Perspective Essay Competition from the Goethe-Institut. Natalie and Sophie wrote excellent essays on the topic of solidarity and have won a three-week trip to Germany to partake in a German language course as the first place prize and an online German language course as second place prize. They will both be attending the awards ceremony at the Goethe-Institut on November 17th after a tour of the United Nations and a visit for coffee with the German Consul General, Till Knorn. This is a very distinguishing honor and testament to their hard work in this competition! Herzlichen Glückwunsch!
