Coach, Mr. James Lonardo shares that at last week's FIRST Tech Challenge competition, Stuyvesant's Robotics teams performed admirably. Team 479, Stuy Fusion and Team 310 Stuy Fission joined up as an alliance in the finals and won the overall competition. This victory allows Team 310 to attend the New York City Championships in March. (Team 479 qualified for champs at the previous event in January.)
Although they are 2 teams ,they work so well together it is truly amazing to see. They students fully understand and exhibit FIRST'S mantra of "Gracious Professionalism." Mr. Lonardo expressed, "I am so proud of this attitude that winning together is just icing on the cake".
