Congrats to Stuy Boys Swim on NYSPHSAA State Swim Meet 2026!

Six Stuyvesant Pirates competed at the NYSPHSAA State Swim Meet. As a team, the Pirates finished 3rd overall out of 131 schools across New York State.

Senior Villanova commit Liam Mac Colla was named Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet, winning the 50 Freestyle (20.27) and 100 Freestyle (44.10) with Automatic All-American times. His 100 Free also set a new Ithaca College pool record and personal best.

Senior Ethan Pak placed 8th in the 200 Free (1:41.78 PB) and 8th in the 100 Free (46.27).

Senior Thomas Mackey placed 15th in the 100 Back (52.68) and 19th in the 100 Fly (52.27).

Junior Aidan Zeleniy placed 16th in the 200 IM (1:59.01).

Sophomore Michael Zhu placed 16th in the 100 Breaststroke (58.67).

Relay highlights:
• Thomas Mackey, Michael Zhu, Nathan Luan, and Liam Mac Colla placed 4th in the 200 Medley Relay (1:34.16), breaking the PSAL record twice.
• Ethan Pak, Michael Zhu, Aidan Zeleniy, and Nathan Luan placed 19th in the 200 Freestyle Relay 1:29.04
• Ethan Pak, Aidan Zeleniy, Thomas Mackey, and Liam Mac Colla placed 3rd in the 400 Freestyle Relay, lowering their own PSAL record by four seconds. 3:06.28
