<p>Ms. Chie Helinski shares that as part of the <b>digital Japan Bowl</b> preparation, Japan America Society of Southern California hosted a series of study sessions to the participants. One of the activities was to improve interview/conversational skills. On the last day of the study session, they held a speech contest judged by Japan Language Center/JPT America staff members.</p><p>Our junior, <b>Henry Shannon,</b> <b>won</b> the level 3 speech contest. He received a certificate and prizes. (photos attached)</p><p>In addition, our sophomore, <b>Isabella Chen,</b> received an honorable mention.</p>
