Congratulations to Deenah Whaqid, who was invited as a guest speaker for the NYCSchools Pep Rally and Kickoff Event at the High School for Food and Finance. She got to celebrate all students and empower them regardless of IEP/504 status. I It was a very wholesome event with multiple high schools and Deputy Chancellor Christina Foti as well as our DOE team in attendance. Also, she got to witness select schools put on a ballet performance and band number!
