Congratulations to Aiden Ackerman and Samuel Li who have been named two of only 300 Scholars in the Regeneron Science Talent Search 2024, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors! Samuel's project was on Turning Fat to Muscle by Activating Muscle-Specific Genes
Each student who is named a scholar receives $2,000 and each school receives $2,000 as well.
Throughout its history, the competition’s alumni have been honored with 13 Nobel Prizes, 11 National Medals of Science, six Breakthrough Prizes, 21 MacArthur Foundation Fellowships and two Fields Medals. This year, the Science Talent Search received more applicants than have been seen in over five decades.
