FREE, virtual, and educational opportunity!
Columbia University Educational Outreach is so excited to announce a new program for high school students this Fall in addition to their normal Splash event! The new, virtual program called Tides is a 5 week program that will be happening on Sundays 12pm-3pm EST from October 4th to November 1st. They are offering free, live, and unique classes ranging from “Your Amazing Brain: Intro to Neuroscience” to “Intro to American Sign Language” (our course catalog can be found here: https://columbia.learningu.org/learn/Tides/2020_Fall/catalog). All classes are taught by Columbia University students and alumni. Students will only need access to Zoom!
Registration will open Wednesday, September 22, 2020 and close on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 7 PM EST (not 11:59!). Please register here: https://columbia.learningu.org/learn/register.html
As this is a small program, they will be looking at responses to the application questions to then enter students into a lottery selection.
