Assistant Principal, Ms. Francesca McAuliffe shares congratulation to Ms. Anna Montserrat on being recognized by the College Board for her significant contributions during the 2020 AP Reading. In June 2020, 1,461 high school AP teachers and college faculty joined forces to score 168,998 AP Spanish Language and Culture exams. The circumstances in which this work was completed were unprecedented. Ms. Montserrat helped ensure that AP students could pursue college credit and placement opportunities amid school closures and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. A huge part of the AP Program’s success is due to a scoring process that reflects the high standards of AP Readers who, by virtue of their experience and expertise, have appropriate student performance expectations within their respective disciplines.
