Dear families and friends,
On December 18 the Department of Education (DOE) announced some changes to the process for applying to middle school and high school. We understand that the announcement raises many questions for families in the public school community.
On December 23 from 5:30 - 6:30 the Students with Disabilities Committee and Zoning and Capital Planning Committee will hold a forum to present what we know right now about the changes.
We understand that many people have strong opinions about these changes. There will be future opportunities for the community to share feedback, however the purpose of this session is to share as much information as possible about the changes. We will answer every question we can and take note of questions that still require more information from the DOE.
