<p data-block-key="v7c90">Over 200 students got to hear author Jason Koo read, and after school he stuck around to talk to the editors of our literary magazine Caliper. Dr. Moore thanks the Librarians for making such an amazing, welcoming space, and thanks Stuy student and Caliper editor Maya Hoota for reaching out to Jason Koo and inviting him to Stuy! Thanks as well go to Ms. Thoms and Ms. Deykute for supporting poetry and guest speakers! Jason Koo has been such an inspiration to Stuy kids for so long. They see themselves and new possibilities for their lives as thinkers every time he reads for us. As one of my students told me Dr. Moore, "I actually, like, really loved his poetry.
