Apply for the WGIRLS Inc. Project G.L.A.M. Scholarship by 6/30/2023

The WGIRLS Inc. Project G.L.A.M. Scholarship is a merit and need-based scholarship designed to help young women cover costs associated with pursuing a college education. The scholarship award(s) will be $1,500. All graduating female students from the class of 2023 who attend a public school in NYC are encouraged to apply. The application for the scholarship is available at the link below. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is Friday, June 30th.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Each applicant must submit: 

• A completed application
• A one-page essay (400-500 words)
• A copy of their high school transcript
• A letter of recommendation from high school teacher or guidance counselor
• Signed statement of support by guidance counselor or other support staff

WHO CAN APPLY?

Female high school seniors on track to graduate in 2023. 

The student must:

• Be accepted to a college/university with plan to start Fall 2022
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application submission
• Have proof of financial need (family household income less than $52,000 AGI or free/reduced lunch status from 2021-2022 school year)
