<p>The WGIRLS Inc. Project G.L.A.M. Scholarship is a merit and need-based scholarship designed to help young women cover costs associated with pursuing a college education. The scholarship award(s) will be $1,500. All graduating female students from the class of 2023 who attend a public school in NYC are encouraged to apply. Scholarship Committee</p><p>APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS</p><p>Each applicant must submit: </p><ul><li>A completed application</li><li>A one-page essay (400-500 words)</li><li>A copy of their high school transcript</li><li>A letter of recommendation from high school teacher or guidance counselor</li><li>Signed statement of support by guidance counselor or other support staff</li></ul><p>WHO CAN APPLY?</p><p>Female high school seniors on track to graduate in 2023. </p><p>The student must:</p><ul><li>Be accepted to a college/university with plan to start Fall 2022</li><li>Have a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application submission</li><li>Have proof of financial need (family household income less than $52,000 AGI or free/reduced lunch status from 2021-2022 school year)</li></ul>
