On Friday, October 11th, the Biology Department and the Stuyvesant Alumni Association hosted Sheldon Krimsky, Stuy Alumnus '59, and the Lenore Stern Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Tufts University. He gave a talk entitled "The Moral Choices on CRISPR Babies". Dr. Krimsky spoke on ethical issues surrounding CRISPR, the revolutionary gene-editing technology.
