Stuyvesant Environmental Club is happy to announce an Alumni Guest Speaker on June 10th after school in Lecture Hall A. Luna Oiwa (’16) received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.Eng in Engineering Management from Cornell University in 2020. After graduating, she first worked as a LEED consultant at CodeGreen Solutions, then as an embodied carbon consultant at Brightworks Sustainability before joining the US Environmental Protection Agency as an embodied carbon advisor. Outside of work, Luna is an active volunteer in the building material reuse space, and both serves on the Board of the non-profit Build Reuse and is a member of the NYC-based reuse network RECLAIM NYC. She will be talking about her career path from Stuyvesant Environmental Club to a Sustainability Career
