The New York Stem Cell Foundation (NYSCF) Research Institute will host the 2022 High School Stem Cell Research Immersive Experience (the Immersive) Monday – Thursday, August 22 – 25, 2022 from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM. The Immersive is a stem cell research "bootcamp" in which high school students will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of stem cell research and its applications, to participate in career development workshops, and to meet NYSCF scientists and engineers. This year will include a full day on-site Lab Technique workshop at the New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute in Manhattan. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion.
The application can be accessed here, and they are due May 20, 2022, 5:00 pm Eastern. Letters of reference from teachers must be received at this time to be considered complete. The program is open to rising juniors, rising seniors, and recent high school graduates.
