Bossgirls, a free entrepreneurship program for high school girls from the Zahn Innovation Center at the City College of New York, is now taking applications for Summer 2022 (hybrid*). Students work in teams to discover a problem, and build a startup idea that solves the problem. They'll gain new skills, develop greater confidence, and make new friends along the way. As an added bonus, students are provided with mentorship through our sponsors at Standard Chartered, and they hear from women entrepreneurs throughout the program. *We expect that Summer 2022's program will be a hybrid model, with mostly online sessions supplemented with some in-person activities. In-person sessions will take place at The City College of New York (160 Convent Avenue, New York, NY 10031). Please know that because public health measures may change before the summer, we may have to hold the program fully online as we did in 2020 & 2021. We will also make reasonable accommodations for those who cannot attend in person due to health concerns. We will reach out to applicants with more information about our plans for in-person sessions in the coming months, so we ask that you please hold questions related to vaccines, testing requirements, mask wearing, etc., until we reach out with more guidance.
