Write the Chorus for NYC Strong! 1/17 deadline -- the new citywide songwriting project from SHOF & OASP

Mr. Harold Stephan has started the next city-wide songwriting project in partnership with the SHOF and OASP..

Born out of the pandemic, last spring the NYC Song of Hope Project provided our students with the opportunity to create a new NYC anthem and let their voices be heard!  Through this collaboration between the DOE’s Office of Arts & Special Projects (OASP) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame (SHOF),  over 250 students from Stuyvesant and 33 other schools across the five boroughs (K-12) joined forces to write and perform “Stay Strong NY, We Love NY”, which has received 5,000 views to date!

We are thrilled to work together again with the Songwriters Hall of Fame and build on the theme of being New York City Strong through a new interactive songwriting and dance project, entitled, “NYC Strong!”

We invite all Stuyvesant students to participate!

PHASE 1:  LET’S WRITE THE CHORUS!
