The SU is excited to announce they will be hosting the Virtual Clubs & Pubs Fair this week! The Fair will be taking place over the course of 7 days (from 4-6 pm afterschool from Tue., Sep. 29th through Wed., Oct. 7th) and will feature nearly 150 activities! A different category of ~20 activities with a similar theme (i.e. STEM, sports, arts, culture, academics, etc.) will participate in each day of the fair. Here is the lineup, which contains the clubs presenting each day in the order that they will present.
Each day will be split into two parts: club presentations and club “breakout” rooms. In a Zoom Webinar at the start of each day, you will be able to hear club leaders present 1-2 minutes of information about their club. After the Webinar, you will get the opportunity to attend personal Zoom meetings hosted by the clubs you he
ard from that day.
Students wishing to attend the Zoom Webinar at 4:00 pm, please register using the link emailed to their stuy.edu email accounts.. You must use your stuy.edu email address to sign up, otherwise, you will not receive a Zoom link. Registering for the Fair through this link will automatically allow you to attend any other day of the Fair. The link you receive for tomorrow’s Webinar will be used throughout the seven days. We expect the Webinar portion of the Fair to last from 4:00-4:45 pm.
The second part of the Fair, the personal Zoom meetings, can be accessed through StuyActivities. Once you sign in, navigate to the side menu, and select the subheading titled “Clubs & Pubs Fair”. The page is organized by day, so find which day you are looking for, and scroll through the clubs to find their individual breakout room. You can use this time to ask club leaders any questions or meet new people!
