Several members of the Environmental Club, spent their Sunday afternoon cleaning up a section of the Coney Island beach as part of the end of the year celebration. Despite the large crowds and blistering heat, they persevered, and were able to remove plastic straws, Styrofoam, and other hazards to the environment.
