If you are interested in social justice, art, and books, on February 24, 2022, join curator Nicholas Caldwell for an exclusive tour of the exhibition Gwendolyn Brooks': A Poet's Work in Community, followed by a poetry-writing workshop. Teens will discover the life of the poet and activist Gwendolyn Brooks and find inspiration in poetry prompts created by Brooks herself to create original poems. Discover Black-owned publishers and bookstores in New York City and nationwide, and gain an understanding of the Morgan Library & Museum's collection available online. Registration in advance is recommended and suggested for teens age 13 to 18 years old. No experience is required.
