The Commission on Gender Equity and the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender Based Violence invite you to participate in the annual global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign from Wednesday, November 25th through Thursday, December 10th, 2020. Our theme is Take Action Against Gender-Based Violence and we invite you to host an-hour long bystander intervention training during the 16 Days to make NYC’s public spaces safe for all New Yorkers regardless of gender identity, gender expression, or background.
We want to train 1000 persons per day during the 16-day period. Sign up as an agency or as individuals at https://www.ihollaback.org/16days/ to participate in the Campaign. The campaign flyer identifies additional ways in which you can Take Action Against Gender-Base Violence. Also, orange is the color of our 16 Days of Activism Campaign. We are encouraging everyone to #WearOrange on November 25th to kick off the Campaign and post to social media.
