Submit Artwork for the 2024 Stuyvesant Holiday Card Contest!

Students in all grades are invited to participate in a contest to create an original cover for a holiday card that best represents the holiday season. This is our 9th year at Stuyvesant with this wonderful tradition! The winning designs will be used for Stuy's official holiday card!
The judges will be looking for:
- creativity and originality
- quality of artwork
- interpretation of the subject matter/theme
The following are the rules for the contest:
- Only one piece of artwork per student may be submitted.
- Artwork must be completed by one student only. Group participation for one piece of artwork is not permitted.
- Artwork must incorporate the contest’s theme – a winter holiday and/or the winter season.
- Artwork must be a holiday card cover measuring up to 8” x 8” (including framing, if used).
- Artwork may be submitted framed or unframed.
- Artwork must be original content created by the contest participant.
- Artwork may consist of one or multiple mediums -- photography, graphic design, watercolor, oil paint, acrylic paint, charcoal, textiles, pencil, pen and ink.
- Artwork can be still life, portrait, abstract, landscape, etc.
- Artwork may be multi-dimensional but must be flat on one side for hanging.
- Art design must not contain any profanity.
- Art design must not contain any religious content.
- Winners will be notified by email and two or more entries will be selected by the principal to use as the school's holiday card.
- Be creative!
