Assistant Principal, Dr. Gary Haber announced that Stuyvesant will be administered the School Day SAT this year for JUNIORS on March 27th. This SAT will not feature the essay portion of the test as the DOE does not make that option available. Students and parents who have Talos accounts have been emailed instructions and the schedule for March 27th, which will be a half day with late entry for those not taking the exam. Classes will begin at 12:14 and period 10 concludes at 3:35pm with abbreviated classes. You may view the schedule on the school website calendar and SAT announcement. Students wishing to prepare for the SAT may do so using this SAT Guide.
ALL juniors are signed up for this SAT. For any Junior who wishes to take it, all they need to do is show up on testing day with the necessary materials.
No registration is required for the March 27, 2019 SAT at Stuyvesant High School.
Taking this SAT is NOT mandatory. Students may feel free to opt out; ergo, the SAT on March 27, 2019 is not mandatory.
The SAT being offered at Stuyvesant DOESN’T include the essay. Please note that many colleges and universities require the essay score along with other sections.
