<p></p><p>This week, Stuyvesant welcomed accepted students and their families of the Class of 2023 on Monday, March 25th for <b>Open House</b>! We thank the hundreds of student volunteers, <b>Big Sibs</b> and <b>ARISTA</b>, that led tours. <b>Stuy Legacy</b> who gave three show-stopping dance performances in the theatre, and our <b>Jazz Band</b> who entertained our guests in the theatre with their talent and spoke to parents and students about our musical ensembles. <b>Mr. Contreras, Ms. Pedrick</b> and<b> Ms. Ingram</b> were joined by Stuyvesant Alumna, <b>Erika Irish Brown</b>, ’86, was our special guest speaker. Special thanks to the <b>Parent’s Association</b> and to their fund-raising efforts as well as <b>42 volunteer parents</b> that offered advice and experiences. All of our <b>Assistant Principals and many teachers and staff members</b> provided demonstrations and our <b>clubs and sports teams</b> also supported the event.
