On November 2-3, 2022, Stuyvesant held its first Fall Open House for interested middle school families since pre-pandemic three years ago! It was a full house both evenings as families from all five boroughs were welcomed by over 40 volunteers each night and 200 students from Arista and Big Sibs. Families enjoyed theater information sessions presented by Principal Yu, Ms. Pedrick and Ms. Ingram; student-led tours through all 10 floors of the school as well as Department demonstrations by teachers and administration in all our departments. The new Robotics lab housed our team demonstrating for hundreds each night. It was an amazing and inspiring two nights of Stuy spirit thanks to the hard work of all our faculty members, leaders, students, volunteers and families visiting.
