<p>On Saturday, Director of Family Engagement, <strong>Ms. Dina Ingram</strong> along with <strong>Principal Contreras</strong> and Assistant Principal, <strong>Ms. Jennifer Suri </strong>at a second <strong>Parent Workshop</strong> in Jackson Heights, Queens that was graciously hosted by <strong>Dr. Ivan Khan</strong> and <strong>Khan’s Tutorial</strong>. We were accompanied by student leaders of <strong>Stuy MSA</strong> (Muslim Student Association) and <strong>Stuy SAYA</strong> (South Asian Youth Association). Seniors, <strong>Tashfia Hasan, Sanjita Tanin</strong> and <strong>Irtesam Khan</strong> shared their experiences at Stuyvesant with Stuy parents. Also joining us were Stuy Alumni, <strong>Tahseen Chowdhury ’18</strong> and <strong>Raiyan Nafee ’16</strong>. Parents enjoyed a presentation on report card information, academic support for students and how to get in touch with teachers and counselors, online systems, course selections and more. Dr. Ivan Khan translated in Bengali. We thank all the parents that attended and the whole staff at KT for their incredible support.
