This past Friday night, juniors, Coby Sontag and Areyan Kayum of Stuyvesant Robotics’ team, StuyPulse 694, came to Yankee Stadium where fellow New York FRC team 2 Train, was being honored by their Sponsor, the Yankees.
They joined a cohort of other NYC First teams. All the students enjoyed a surprise appearance by Woodie Flowers, co-founder of FRC! The past two years, Stuyvesant has been honored with both coach, James Lonardo receiving the Woodie Flowers award in 2018 and mentor, Shirley Grant in 2019.
