StuyMUN Travels to Brown University for their 1st national collegiate conference of the school year!

Last weekend, Assistant Principal, Ms. Jennfer Suri and faculty advisor, Mr. Christopher Mykolyk-Brown travelled with Stuyvesant’s Model United Nations (StuyMUN) to Brown University to compete at their first national collegiate conference of the year. 30 delegates debated, collaborated with, and learned from other delegates from around the world on issues ranging from improving health in developing nations to historical committees on the Iranian Revolution of 1979. Once again, Stuyvesant Model UN made a strong showing, winning many awards as a delegation. Most importantly, though, the delegates had an amazing weekend in Providence, Rhode Island, and made a strong showing representing Stuyvesant High School at the national level. Congratulations to all!  You can see a full update on StuyMUN’s competitions this month and last on the Talos Stuy Blog HERE. (photos courtesy of Ms. Suri)
