On Chancellor's Day last week, we welcomed incoming students for Fall 2024 as well as students invited to the Discovery program this summer at Camp Stuy. Students engaged in bonding sessions with their Big Sibs, took photo ID pictures as well as their placement exams and swim tests. An information session for families of the summer Discovery program participants took place simultaneously in the theater. It was a busy day for our 150 Big Sibs and many staff members who volunteered to come in on the remote professional development day to assist. A record attendance of over 800 students participated. Many thanks to everyone who made the event a smooth one!
