Last Saturday, March 15, Stuyvesant hosted the National Qualifier for Speech & Debate. Students, parents and alums were here to judge, provide meals and of course, to compete. We qualified a record 24 students who will be representing our school and our league in Chicago on Memorial Day weekend. Stuyvesant won the sweepstakes, qualifying more entries than any other school.
Stuyvesant qualified students in every debate category, every speech category and student congress.
Thanks to everyone for making Saturday a wonderful day. And thanks to team parents who provided an international buffet for our guests.
