Stuy Students present at Google

The 2024 Google/Stuy CS mentorship program held final presentations of projects by student teams on June 18 last week. Twenty-one teams presented their work at the event, and two additional teams shared their slides although were not able to present in person. The presentations were quite impressive, with many of the projects featuring sophisticated leading-edge technologies and combining Cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, large language models, generative models, and real-time sensors and interactions. The students shared enthusiastic feedback on their experience and the value they gained from this year's program. The feedback from Google mentors has been positive as well, with many expressing interest in continuing mentoring if we renew the program in the next academic year. We are grateful to Mr. Vaysburd for making this opportunity available to Stuy students in collaboration with Mr. Jon Alf Dyrland-Weaver.
