Stuy students attend the Talking Science at Rockefeller University

Rockefeller University invited ten Stuyvesant students in Sophomore Research and AP Psychology classes to their Annual Talking Science Event.  Dr. Winrich Freiwald presented his groundbreaking research on the sectors of the brain's visual system that respond specifically to faces. Our students engaged in post-lecture Q&A, participated in the career path discussion with graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, learned about facial recognition technology, and made their brain caps.
