Stuy students attend the Talking Science Event!

Rockefeller University invited ten Stuyvesant students in Sophomore Research class to their Annual Talking Science Event.  Dr. Sohail Tavazoie presented his groundbreaking research on the underlying molecular mechanisms of cancer metasis, and the application of their research towards the development of novel experimental therapeutics. Our students engaged in post-lecture Q&A, participated in the career path discussion with graduate students and physician scientists, learned about advanced imagery technology and the future of computational protein chemistry.
