The American Heart Association invited 15 Stuyvesant students to their STEM Goes Red Event this past Monday, 11/6/2023, to the newest Pfizer building in Hudson Yards. Students learned about the importance of heart health, engaged in speed mentoring from dozens of women in the STEM field, and participated in an interactive drug development scenario to learn more about the laborious process that brings life-saving treatments to folks around the globe. We were so proud of our young minds, their inquisitive questions, and bright future for STEM!
