On Thursday, Mr. Goldsman and Ms. O’Connell took a group of students (Leiny Metlisky, Eliza Oppenheimer, Rachel Prizant, Daniel Prizant and Adina Salant) to a conference on combating antisemitism, hate and extremism. They explored ways to challenge hate and bigotry, as well as attended seminars on the impact of words, legal ramifications of hate speech and crimes, unpacking slogans/misinformation and navigating social media after October 7th.
