On behalf of donor Sheron Long and CIEE, I am pleased to announce that Stuyvesant High School has been selected as a Global Navigator School for the 2020-2021 school year. While I know that this year brings unprecedented challenges and uncertainty, Assistant Principal, Ms. Francesca McAuliffe shares that more students from Stuyvesant have the chance to study abroad this summer than ever before. In addition to earmarking $25,000 in scholarships for Stuyvesant students to study abroad with CIEE, every Stuyvesant student who was confirmed for summer 2020 was given the option to defer their scholarship until the summer of 2021.
For 2021, CIEE, supported by the generous Global Navigator Scholarship fund, will continue to provide scholarships up to 100% of program fees.
The scholarship application deadline for this year will be January 15th. Be on the lookout for more information regarding this program in the weeks ahead.
