Stuy MSA to Compete at MIST 2019 on March 30 and 31!

Stuyvesant’s MSA (Muslim Student’s Association) will be competing at MIST March 30th and 31st. Watch a video from their 2018 competition. (Muslim Interscholastic Tournament) MIST was founded in 2002 by a teenage girl in Houston, Texas and now takes place in 18 regions across North America and the UK. Their mission is to bring high school students together to develop leadership, promote communication, and inspire creativity while gaining a deeper understanding of Islam and Muslims. They do this through our annual regional and national tournaments. They are dedicated to empowering high school students by giving them a venue to:

  1. Develop confidence and professionalism
  2. Express Emotions, Thoughts & Ideas
  3. Embrace Identity when Engaging the World
  4. Meet & Network with Peers around the World

Please join & support our Stuyvesant's Muslim Students Association or "Noor al-Stuy = Light of Stuy"

along with 45 high school chapters at this year's NYC regional competition at City College Campus.
