This past weekend, the Stuyvesant Muslim Students Association competed at the Muslim Interscholastic Tournament and won 1st place against many other high schools in NYC. This was the first time that a team took the victory home during two consecutive years in MIST New York history. On top of the school’s win, Sadat Ahmed and Shahriyar Rohan were ranked as the first and second place overall competitors. After a great run at regionals, Salaam As Stuy is now looking forward to competing at nationals in Atlanta this July! #GoStuy!
