Stuy hosts First-Ever Maker Faire 2025!

Stuy hosts First-Ever Maker Faire 2025!

On June 2nd, the Stuyvesant Guild hosted the school’s first-ever Maker Faire! Over a dozen booths filled the cafeteria with hands-on activities, demos, and student projects covering the intersection of science, art, tech, and design. Students soldered blinking circuit boards at a workshop led by members of the Coney Island Maker Faire, learned to crochet, explored computer engineering, and visited booths hosted by teams/clubs including SciOly Tech, StuyPulse, and StuyAviators! See the full list of presenters in the program!

A huge thank you to the makers, teachers (especially our faculty advisor, Mr. Dillon, and Mr. Rothman), visitors, and team who made this Faire happen. We hope you enjoyed it, and we can't wait for next year's Faire!
