The All-City Modern Music Project, hosted by Stuyvesant High School, held its annual Winter Concert on January 18th in the Murray Kahn theater. NYC Public HS students from all 5 Boroughs performed an exciting mix of original and cover songs for an audience full of music enthusiasts, parents and friends. A standout performance was given by guitarist and Stuyvesant freshman Yuxuan Che, who led a rock group performing "American Idiot" by Green Day, among other songs. The All-City High School Music Program is a free program for New York City public school students in grades 9–12. The program brings together students from all five boroughs to form ensembles that perform on Saturdays and at high-profile events.
