On May 12, Stuyvesant hosted the first in-person Open House since 2019! It was a joyous return to in-person events and all had and wonderful experience participating in the preparations. We hope that our incoming students and students offered seats in the summer Discovery program had as an exhilarating experience as we did!
2000 guests who pre-registered enjoyed a performance live on stage from our award-winning dance troupe, Stuy Legacy and an information session in our theater as well as guided tours by our Big Sibs and ARISTA students. Many enjoyed self-guided tours where they were able to speak with teachers and administrators and see demonstrations from our Robotics Team and our lab teachers and so many of our staff and students. They met up with coaches and students on our 42 PSAL teams in the gym and met student reps from our clubs! We had over 40 parent volunteers and our active Parent's Association and Alumni Association were fundraising and welcoming families as well.
